Introduction

Asthma and COPD are life threatening conditions that cause spasms and constrictions of the airways. This half day course looks at the signs, symptoms and effective management of these airway conditions.

Course Contents

  • Anatomy and Physiology of the Lungs
  • Definitions of Asthma, Chronic Bronchitis and Emphysema
  • Treatment; Long Term and in Acute Exacerbations
  • Use and care of Oxygen
  • Living with these Conditions

Course Outcomes

Successful completion of this training course will result in the award of a CPD accredited certificate covering all aspects of the above course contents.
