Introduction

This course is delivered by a Nuco accredited instructor. This qualification is specifically designed for supporting children and young people, addressing issues such as depression, self-harm, eating disorders, and bullying. It equips learners with the knowledge and skills to recognise potential mental health concerns, initiate conversations, and offer support in guiding individuals toward professional help.

Learners will not diagnose or treat mental health conditions, as this is the role of healthcare professionals. Instead, they will gain the awareness needed to identify when someone may be struggling and understand where to direct them for appropriate assistance.
