The Productive Activities in Dementia Care is a one day training course suitable for nurses, carers and support workers.

Introduction

This highly popular and fully unique course, which was devised as a result of conversations between an EMI Nursing Home Manager (RMN) and our Training and Development Manager, focuses on effective, time-managed activities to stimulate reminiscence and outstanding support for people living with dementia. This full-day course builds upon our Dementia Awareness full-day training, and offers carers practical tools to keep service users engaged and stimulated both inside and outside of the ‘organised’ activities that may be provided in the care setting.
