This Practise Development course is a one day study day suitable for registered nurses.
Practise Development/Study Day (For Nurses)
Abuka a are delighted to be able to offer the services of their Registered Nurse Trainers to provide superb practice development and training opportunities to other nurses. Our study/practice development days can be tailored to the needs of the nurses, and generally cover around 3 to 4 clinical subjects, in-depth, throughout the day.
Organisations should liaise with the Abuka office to provide a general idea of the topics they would like to cover throughout the day.
Study and Practice Development Days may include, but are not limited to:
- BLS, ILS or ALS
- Venepuncture and cannulation
- Tissue viability
- Clinical observations
- Medicine administration
- PEG and/or naso-gastric care and a wide range of other topics as required
All study days will enable a certificate of CPD to be issued, which will contribute 7.5 hours towards a nurses’ CPD portfolio, which can be used for revalidation purposes.
